Our work is a dance theater piece that weaves in and out of movement and spoken word examining ownership of the body. We explore when this ownership is threatened; by another person (sexual assault), by social constructions (be this weight, have this size breasts, don’t age) and by laws that deny a woman the right to choose whether she has a child or not (the overturning of Roe vs Wade).
